Position Overview The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Case Assignment and Placement Team Supervisor. Under direction, this position will monitor clerical staff engaged in the provision of complex, specialized functions requiring the application of agency policies and procedures and the utilization of independent judgment. This position will provide oversight of the determination of appropriate DCFS codes and MARS/CYCIS screens for inputting placement payment, case registration, case opening, and medical eligibility information. This position provides a great opportunity for someone who is interested in providing support to the Department's child welfare efforts through the supervision of supporting staff engaged in the case assignment and problem resolution process. Job Responsibilities Serves as Case Assignment and Placement Team Supervisor. Serves as working supervisor. Prepares a variety of documents and complex materials, including correspondence, Department statistical data, highly technical reports, Department forms, and other complex reports. Conducts quality assurance review of front-line work product and problem resolution work products to ensure the quality of work produced by staff meets established standards and complies with established policies and procedures. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above. Minimum Qualifications Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of two years of study at a secretarial/business college and two years of experience OR completion of high school and four years Office Assistant experience OR four years of independent business experience.
