Job Description:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Accurately record production data throughout process run on required paperwork.

2.Inspect machine prior to operating to ensure all parts are intact and there are no signs of wear and abrasions.

3.Ensure necessary supplies are located in the production room (buckets, lids, powder, etc.).

4.Check all that apply: Calibrate scales, vacuum pump filter, powder reclaimers, hardness tester

5.Follow written batch record instructions.

6.Operate machine(s) in accordance with established parameters.

7.Weigh, label, and record buckets with completed product and store in proper area.

8.Throughout run perform in process checks for physical appearance of capsules and perform periodic checks according to the specifications per product packet.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Set up machine when necessary including bowl and all the components, tamper head and brass ring. Reassemble capsule station, auger, and hopper. Adjust and align scraper, attach segments, tamper pin, and assemblies and clamp into place.

2.Clean machine, parts, and room after production run according to SOP¿s.

3.Troubleshoot machine

4.Follow Good manufacturing practices, standard operating procedures, and quality control policies.

5.Adhere to company safety policies/programs including 100% compliance with MSG¿s cardinal rules, active participation in identifying safety concerns, as well as participation in safety training and committees (when asked).

6.Maintain an orderly work area.

7.Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
