The Yardperson provides bulk product delivery support to blast crews and assistance to crews for on bench operations. - This is an entry-level position with the opportunity to advance to become a CDL Driver. Orica will provide on the job training and the necessary CDL schooling. Monday thru Friday -- Home every night - Local driving (2-3 hours)- Early morning starts approx. Overtime may be needed Contribute to our safety culture by wearing assigned Personal Protective Equipment ("PPE"), keeping safety guards on equipment in place, using equipment safely, and looking out for the other members on your team Maintain a clean job site by picking up tools and equipment and securing job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards Load and unload trucks Operate mobile equipment on site Organize stock and products within the warehouse Maintain accurate records of products that have been stocked - Experience with hand tools and mechanical aptitude preferred - Note: Orica does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
