Job Description:
A company is looking for a Peer Recovery Specialist for a fully
remote position in Ohio.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient engagement and support recovery management
processes
Educate patients on community resources and facilitate care
transitions
Maintain communication with patients and Care Team members,
ensuring continuity of care
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
1+ years of experience in opioid use disorder treatment resources
and 2+ years in peer support
Peer certification in the state of residence is required
Certification as a National Certified Peer Recovery Support
Specialist expected within 9 months of hire
Experience with underrepresented pathways of substance use recovery
preferred
Ability to maintain compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality
standards
