Job Description:
Are you looking to join a dynamic team in the flexible packaging
industry? Lithotype Company is seeking a Packaging Lamination
Operator for our 3rd shift. If you have experience in packaging
lamination equipment, we want to hear from you! This position
operates a lamination machine, and all critical tasks associated
with running production changeovers and press machine maintenance.

packaging with rapid turnaround times. Job Responsibilities: Safely
sets up, operates, and monitors lamination machinery and equipment
as intended and needed to meet customer and production goals.
Completes lamination machine setup for production runs, including
loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to
ensure proper operation. Monitors the production process, inspects,
and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols,
to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are
met. Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work in
progress regulations. Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and
performs routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating
efficiently. Trains and provides guidance to machine assistants and
new crew members. Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized
by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness
requirements. Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to
prevent accidents or injuries. Wear appropriate personal protective
equipment (PPE) as required by safety policies and report any
safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate team member.
Completes all necessary documentation for internal or external use.
Effectively works with other departments or team members, such as
press operators, slitter operators, supervisors, and quality
control inspectors, to coordinate production activities and address
any potential issues as they arise. All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include: Knowledge of printing and lamination
processes, films, inks and coatings. Ability to become
knowledgeable of lamination equipment, coating applications,
packaging films, and Company's unique manufacturing process.
General mechanical aptitude / ability problem solving
Detail-oriented Positive can-do attitude; excellent verbal and
written communication skills. Ability to multi-task. Ability to
work in a team environment. Ability to work well under pressure.
Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of
confidential/sensitive information. Exceptional time management and
organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines. Ability
to communicate effectively (verbal, written) with executive
leadership, staff, and internal and external clients. Proactive;
exercises sound judgment and decision-making; able to identify
problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
