Position Description The primary focus of this position is to engineer system and subsystem electrical hardware & software architectures for smart products for use in vehicles. Key Responsibilities Design, define and maintain system architectures for automotive components & systems. This includes taking responsibility for the organization and maintenance of the documentation. Implement functionality at both the electrical hardware and software level. Discover, define, and maintain system and sub-system requirements. Develop and execute system verification and validation strategies. Evaluate existing and new products for compliance with regulatory and industry standards. Conduct experiments and perform simulations to verify system performance. Participate in design meetings and communicate with supervisor, section manager, program manager, and other engineers. Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and firmware teams to implement architectural specifications. Develop and deploy internal systems to continuously improve the product development workflow. Required Education & Qualifications Required Education Currently studying BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or closely related field. Required Qualifications Must be results-oriented with excellent analytical, planning, organization, and execution skills. Good skills in the following competencies: Creativity, Planning & Organizing, Team Player, Judgment/Decision Making, Critical Thinking, Diagnostics, Communication, and Follow-Up Must be able to demonstrate some level of proficiency with programming and electrical design.
