Description
Waukesha County's Department of Health & Human Services is
recruiting for a talented Senior Mental Health Counselor to work in
the Coordinated Services Division - Comprehensive Community
Services. Waukesha County offers a comprehensive compensation and

Example of Duties
Under supervision, to perform senior level professional work
involving the delivery of mental health services to individuals in
need of counseling and/or case management services; and to perform
other duties as required.

Senior Mental Health Counselor Minimum Training and Experience
Requirements:
b. Two (2) years of professional experience in the field of mental
health including one thousand (1000) hours of experience delivering
services to the chronically mentally ill and their families.
OR
b. Three (3) years of professional experience in the field of
mental health including one thousand (1000) hours of experience
delivering services to the chronically mentally ill and their
families.
The department may choose to underfill this position as a Mental
Health Counselor.

The 2025 salary range for Mental Health Counselor is: $26.69 -
$35.31.
