Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling components used
in lifting systems and exam tables. This role requires reading and
understanding assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and work
instructions to properly install components and perform diagnostic
tests before final inspection. The ideal candidate has a strong
attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow
technical instructions accurately.Key ResponsibilitiesRead and
interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and work
instructions.Install components to support 120/240-volt
applications on products including lifting systems and exam
tables.Use power tools and hand tools for accurate assembly.Perform
diagnostic tests and final inspections to ensure quality and
functionality.Write accurate inspection reports for
record-keeping.Follow safety protocols and company procedures to
maintain a safe work environment.Maintain clean and organized
workstations to support efficient workflow.Adhere to quality
standards and production timelines.Physical DemandsAbility to lift,
bend, walk, and stand for extended periods of time.Moderate to
heavy lifting - average of 30 pounds regularly (once per hour),
with the possibility of lifting up to 50 pounds
occasionally.Reaching - Extending hands and arms in any
direction.Fingering & Grasping - Handling small components with
fingers and applying pressure to objects with fingers and
palms.Visual acuity required to ensure accuracy, quality, and
neatness in work.Qualifications1 year of general assembly
experience required; 2+ years preferred.High school diploma or
equivalent preferred.Experience working with power tools and hand
tools.Ability to understand and communicate basic English.Strong
attention to detail and ability to follow directions.Consistent and
