  • Proud Partner of the Green Bay Packers.The Position:The Civil3D Specialist will serve under the direction of the Engineering Manager, to lead design teams for a wide range of Site Civil, Land Development and Public infrastructure projects. The candidate should be proficient in the following roles and ready to take on the following responsibilities.Roles and responsibilities
    • Prepare civil infrastructure solutions for ground mounted solar arrays, battery energy storage systems, hydrogen fuel cell stations, reciprocating internal combustion engine plants, and biogas power generation.
    • Develop digital terrain models for solar arrays and access roads using AutoCAD Civil3D.
    • Analyze site restrictions, conditions, easements and power capacity for new photo-voltaic project opportunities.
    • Drafting of construction plans for PV Solar plant layouts, electrical single line diagrams, main equipment elevations, grading plans, drainage swales, erosion control BMPs and access road.
    • Able to produce a complete set of project design drawings to the highest of drafting standards.
    • Collaborate with other civil engineers, design professionals and permitting specialists.

      • Associates degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a minimum 5 years of related experience.
      • Full command of AutoCAD Civil3D.
      • Command of ESRI ArcMap or similar mapping tools.
      • Command of PVSyst is considered a strong plus.
      • 3 to 5 years of work experience in a similar position in the PV sector.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic environment.
      • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment while offering constructive feedback and direction to support goals.Additional Notes
        • The use of hands and fingers to handle or touch objects, tools, equipment, or controls
        • Talking and hearing in a standard office environment, heavy repair shops, testing laboratories, material production plants, and mining operations.
        • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
        • Moderate noise and visual distractions
        • Substantial computer work is performed daily, requiring several hours of screen vision as well as keyboarding and use of mouse. Long periods of time spent sitting.
