This position works with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, prepares and processes purchase orders, monitors inventory, assists in managing vendor contracts, and helps with sourcing third-party vendors. The Procurement Analyst works under general supervision and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Manage, track, negotiate and complete ordering process for various software, services, meetings, events and other general purchasing requests.
  • Submit and track invoices for payment into the accounts payables Chrome River system and for Firm purchase credit card.
  • Partner with Senior Procurement Analyst to conduct vendor reviews and IT software & licensing support.
  • Utilize ServiceNow Helpdesk application to close tickets and ServiceNow Software Asset Management module to answer all software licensing inquiries.
  • Process software renewals, annual license true-ups, and other software related tasks in the purchasing system (SpendConnect) as required by requestors.
  • Assist with the vendor review process, request for proposals (RFPs), diversity & inclusion initiatives, production and distribution of reports, and to communicate statuses to stakeholders.
  • Analyze supply expenditures to help identify cost saving measures and initiatives.
  • Maintain department records, files, and agreements using iManage DMS and SpendConnect contracts apps.
  • Assist users with annual budget process by providing past procurement information as needed.
  • Ensure procurement activities are aligned with the department's purchasing strategy and budgets.Job Specifications:
  • At least three (3) years of related work experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Knowledge of procurement methods, tools, and documentation for selecting vendors and processing orders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational communications skills.
