  Job SummaryThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for handling product in a distribution center/warehouse environment safely and efficiently. This role requires operating a forklift, picking orders, preparing shipments, performing cycle counts, and loading/unloading trucks. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, forklift experience, and a commitment to safety.
  
  Key Responsibilities
  • Handle products safely and efficiently utilizing a forklift.
  • Pick orders from stock or staging areas.
  • Assist in accurate preparation of outgoing shipments, including packaging, wrapping, kitting, assembly, weighing, paperwork processing, and labeling.
  • Provide cycle count support to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Load and unload trucks with outgoing and incoming materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Follow safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Ensure all orders meet quality and accuracy standards.
    
    Physical Demands
    • Operate motorized equipment such as a forklift, with the ability to climb on and off as required.
    • Frequent standing, bending, and lifting.
    • Ability to lift and handle materials regularly.
    • Visual acuity required to ensure accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work.
      
      Qualifications
      • High school diploma or equivalent desired.
      • 3 years of forklift driving experience (previous Forklift Certification a plus).
      • Strong safety record.
      • 1-2 years of picking experience to develop familiarity with material handling methods and accuracy requirements.
      • Basic computer skills.
      • Excellent attendance record.
      • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
      • Ability to understand and speak English.

      • Regular and consistent attendance required.
